You're most certainly the godfather of scan-lines and pixel-dirt; design elements which can now be found on Surfstation and Misprint.
You're introduce these, and then disappear from view for almost a few years.
Why did you stop focusing on web work, especially since you were doing so well with it?
MS: Heh.. Kinda' the same question as before. When I started with PlanChart, I gave 100% of my to it. We almost got A LOT of money for our effort, but we didn't. It took almost year of my time. I lost almost all my customers. Now all I have are bills and outstanding debts. Very sad, but that's what happened, because I was so blind or whatever. That was one reason. Another is that I just got a bit bored with web design. Ok?

MS: Gif.

talal: What do you think of usability and the web. What do you think of jacob nielsen?
MS: What the hell? Who is Jacob Nielsen? Some stranger? Some pervert?

Train77: Do you care about 56K or 800x600 users??
MS: No I don't. I -REALLY- don't care. :)

Pablo: Do you plan out all of your creations, or do you just "go with the flow."
MS: Sometimes I plan them out, and other times I don't; and if you are a graphic designer you know what I mean. I think I usually like "going with the flow".

Michael Thyrring: What do you love to make? In the real world, not the internet world :)
MS: I love to be in love, and to make love. It's heaven. I also love to listen to good music (with good stereo systems) and have a couple of drinks at good places with good friends.

johnlennon: You should join the Surfstation crew man.
MS: Why do you think that?

Ville Kaisla: Hi Miika, it's a joy to see domestic designers here. But where the heck are the others? I mean, am I just blind or is the situation here in Finland just so weak that we don't have more than a few "avant gard-ish" web designers? Maybe they are under the flags of other Scandinavian countries or something :) Well, quality beats quantity. What do you think?
MS: No onhan Suomessa älyttömästi graafisia suunnittelijoita, mut jengi ei pidä ääntä, kun ne ei tajuu, et jos ne on hyviä, niin ne voi saada siitä elämänsä jutun ja tienata elatuksensa tekemällä sitä, mitä haluu tehä. Tai sit ne ei vaan haluu olla pelkkiä graafisia suunnittelijoita? Ja suurinosa ei uskalla tehä omia juttuja, vaan on töissä ja tekee työpaikan juttuja. Eli paskaa.
